After this book pairing was found at a Harrods, many in the twittersphere went nuts, claiming sexism. “How to be Gorgeous” ($6; amazon.com) teaches girls “all [they] need to become a gorgeous goddess” while “How to be Clever” ($6;amazon.com) gives the low-down to boys on “becoming or just appearing highly intelligent.” After the story went viral on Twitter, using the hashtag #notbuyingit, the famed London store pulled the books from shelves and apologized.

Do you think these books are sexist? Leave a comment.
