The Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood has deemed this Screen-Free Week (formerly TV-Turnoff Week) in an effort to get families to turn off their tech, and get back to old-fashioned playing.

If you’re letting your kids watch TV or play on your iPhone just a little too much (guilty), take this opportunity to get back to basics. Try some of these creative ideas for the kind of device-free fun we used to have as kids:
