Did you see us on the Today Show this morning? Our editorial director, Rachel Fishman Fedderson, was on to talk about our exclusive survey with TODAYMoms on Today.com which asked more than 25,000 moms to anonymously spill their secrets. And you won’t believe what they told us.

Among the juiciest tidbits:
- Nearly one in five moms admits to medicating her child to get through a special event like a plane flight; one in 12 even confessed to doing it on a regular night just to get some peace and quiet.
- Half have knowingly sent a sick kid to daycare or school.
- 85 percent use their kids to get out of social obligations.
My mom secret? I adore my 2-year-old little boy (I’m seriously whipped, ask anyone who knows me) but when he’s asleep and it’s just me, my husband and my 6-year-old daughter, who is comparatively so mature and low-maintenance, I wonder what life would be like if we’d stopped at one kid. I wouldn’t be changing poopy diapers, I would be on the other side of toddler tantrums, and I’d have more me time, since it’s a lot easier to hand off one kid to your spouse than two. Of course, if he weren’t around, I wouldn’t get sent off to work each day with the most divine wet kisses.
