Sandwich of the Day: Cucumbers and Cream Cheese

School is back in session—and so is that sinking feeling we have when staring at an empty lunch box at 6 am. What to pack? We, and our gourmet friends at our sister site Saveur.com, are here to help! This week is Brown Bag Week on Parenting.com and Saveur.com, and we're celebrating with tons of ideas for easy, healthy and delicious packed lunches. We'll also serve up eats for morning-rush breakfasts and filling after-school snacks (like Saveur.com's Recipe of the Day: a delicious granola bar recipe!)

Every day this week we'll feature a new twist on that lunchbox staple, the sandwich. Today's sandwich: Spread cream cheese (use your kid's favorite flavor) on white bread and top with crunchy cucumber slices. Done -- and yum!
