2009 Halloween Costume Contest: Round 6

"When I realized our son would be crawling right around Halloween, I tried to think of a costume that would look good in that position and a turtle seemed perfect. My husband always has great memories about the childhood costumes his mom made out of paper mache so he decided to make the top part of the shell. I made sure there was plenty of cushy-ness underneath and added a little tail at the back. The elastic straps just slipped over his camouflage onesie and a tea-dyed pair of white tights and he was all set for his first Halloween party. Thankfully, he started his army-crawl just a couple days
before!"
