How to Make a Cat Bento Lunch Box

  • Cat and mouse come together to make a great lunch combo: a simple sandwich, cheese and crackers.

Antichoking warning: Remember to remove toothpicks and cut up blueberries, grapes, carrots and other food for children under 4. See our Antichoking guide for more information.

  • Stud the whole cat bento with carrot flowers to make it decorative. Serve with your kiddo's fave fruit for a punch of color.

  • You can make your kid's favorite sandwich and cut into a circle with a cookie cutter or using the rim of a drinking glass. Seal the sandwich to keep the filling tucked inside.
  • Turn the leftover bread corners into cat ears, layered with cheese. We've got a clever recipe for leftover breadcrusts, too.
  • Roll up string beans and a carrot stick with ham (or turkey) for a side of "sushi".
