- 1 of 6
Make the cars of the train by cutting a sandwich into quarters with cheese circles and rectangles for wheels and windows.
Antichoking warning: Remember to remove toothpicks and cut up blueberries, grapes, carrots and other food for children under 4. See our Antichoking guide for more information.
For a to-go lunch, wrap each quarter in plastic wrap and pack side by side.
- Pack carrot and celery sticks with dip -- peanut butter is shown here, but you can include yogurt, ranch dressing or hummus. The veggie sticks will make the train tracks.
- When it's lunch time, have your kid lay out the carrots and celery as train tracks. Line up the sandwich quarters to make the train.
