Best New Mom Body
We love how the trendy color blocking in this Louis Vuitton dress slims down any post-pregnancy remnants Reese Witherspoon’s lovely figure might still be sporting (she just gave birth in September, after all). Best yet, Witherspoon’s 13-year-old daughter helped pick it out.
Nine-year-old Quvenzhane Wallis’ ubiquitous puppy purses have been getting almost as much buzz as Beasts of the Southern Wild, the film for which she was nominated for Best Actress. There's no doubt that every pre-tween girl you know will have one strapped to her shoulder soon.
Best Role Model
Just hours before the Oscars, daddy of three and Argo producer/director, Ben Affleck took his 7-year old daughter Violet to a spelling bee. Violet, like Ben, won a trophy yesterday. (Actually two, since Affleck dedicated his statue to her and sibs Samuel and Seraphina.)
Talk about star-parent power. Parents of two, Naomi Watts and Liev Schrieber, looked positively idyllic as they held hands on the red carpet. Oh, and we’re obsessed with the jaw dropping neckline on Watts’ metallic gown.

Most Talented Mom
We were so wowed, we couldn’t choose! Proof that becoming a mom does wonders for inspiration, Jennifer Hudson brilliantly reprised her Oscar-winning performance of “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from Dreamgirls and beautiful Adele, who gave birth just four months ago, brought the house down with her Oscar-winning 007 anthem to Skyfall.
Just when you think Chris Evans & Bradley Cooper couldn’t get any more attractive (okay, downright sexy), they arrive at the 85th Academy Awards with their moms. Mama’s boys? Maybe. Totally adorable? Absolutely.
What the what? We loved Jack Nicholson’s crack about “ringlets and rouge,” but when he introduced First Lady Michelle Obama via satellite to present Argo with the Best Picture nod, we were thrilled! The First lady looked amazing in her Oscar gown!
The Mom Who Needs No Introduction
In one of the few guffaw-worthy Oscar moments, Seth MacFarlane’s non-intro of Meryl Streep was certainly appropriate (even when other moments weren’t). Streep, like Daniel Day-Lewis, has won three Oscars, and she’s a mom of four (which deserves an award all its own).
Cutest Baby Bump
Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s low cut V-neck lace dress beautifully boasted her baby bump. Dad-to-be hottie Channing Tatum looked smashing by her side and was heard on the red carpet saying that the baby is his "best production yet."
Best Mom on a Budget
Helen Hunt’s strapless H&M gown shows that you don’t have to spend a fortune to look spectacular. Maybe not since Sharon Stone wore a white button down GAP shirt to the Oscars in 1998, has any presenter or nominee worn a more affordable dress to the Academy Awards.
