September 9, 2005
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled 7,600 Pottery Barn Kids Spindle Cribs. The spindles on the crib's front railing may loosen and unhinge, allowing children to fall or become entrapped.

The hardwood cribs came in white, pink, and blue variations, and measured 30.5 by 54.5 by 45 inches high. Both the product's name and model number (4825042) are listed on the crib's base. The cribs, ranging in price from $300 to $500, were sold nationwide through the Pottery Barn Kids retail stores and catalogue, and on Potterybarnkids.comFor more information, a free front rail replacement, or full refund (shipping included), contact Pottery Barn Kids daily at (800) 330-6905 between 7 A.M. and 12 A.M. ET daily or visit www.potterybarnkids.com
