September 2, 2005
American Greetings has recalled 120,000 Sesame Street toy sunglasses. The lenses can separate from the glasses, posing a choking hazard.

The sunglasses were sold in sets of four, with each set containing a yellow, blue, green, and red pair of sunglasses. The green cardboard packaging has the Sesame Street and DesignWare logos on it, and the model number SUN-1219 on the back. The sunglasses were sold at discount, toy, drug, grocery, party, and specialty/gift stores nationwide for about $3.

For more information, or for a coupon redeemable for American Greetings' products, contact American Greetings (800) 777-4891 between 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. ET Monday through Friday, or visit www.corporate.americangreetings.com
