1.5 Million Children's Chairs Recalled

April 29, 2005
Atico International USA recently recalled 1.5 million children's folding chairs. The chair's safety lock can fail, causing the chair to collapse unexpectedly. This poses a pinch, severe laceration, or fingertip-amputation hazard. The chairs are made of metal tubing, have a padded seat, and come in red, blue, yellow, and green. They were sold separately and as part of a table and chairs set at hardware, discount department, toy, grocery, and drug stores nationwide. The individual chairs cost around $10 and the complete set cost $30.

For a full refund, consumers should contact Atico at 877-546-4835 from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. ET, Monday through Friday, or visit www.aticousa.com
