Who is the story about? My older sister Monique
Description Magical Monique is a beautiful angel who comes down from Heaven to play with me and mommy.
Who else is in the story? Mommy the monkey, (me) Ryan the rabbit
Where are they? It was a rainy winter day when Mommy the Monkey and Ryan the Rabbit were at their nice warm cozy cottage in Loving Creek.
What are they doing? Ryan the Rabbit and Mommy the Monkey were playing silly games and dancing around to music. Ryan the Rabbit got very tired and wanted to take a nice warm bath. So Mommy the Monkey gave him a bath and sang their "scrubbie scrubbie " song. Ryan the Rabbit went to lay down in his room while Mommy the monkey cleaned everything up. While Mommy the Monkey was busy cleaning Ryan the Rabbit saw Magical Monique in his room. Magical Monique is an Angel who came down from Heaven to play with her brother Ryan the Rabbit. They giggled and danced and colored a little bit.
Why are they doing that? Ryan the Rabbit loved when Magical Monique came to visit him because he missed her so so SO much!! Ryan the Rabbit never got the chance to grow up with his sister Magical Monique before she became an Angel in Heaven. But ever since Ryan was a tiny Rabbit, Magical Monique would come and visit him everyday. No one ever knew, not even Mommy the Monkey. This was a special relationship Magical Monique and Ryan the Rabbit had with each other. After playing for awhile Magical Monique gave her little brother Ryan the Rabbit a giant hug and kiss good-bye. Ryan the Rabbit never wanted Magical Monique to leave but he knew Mommy the Monkey would be coming to tuck him in bed. Magical Monique and Ryan the Rabbit waved bye and giggled because they knew they would see each other again.
What happens to everyone? Mommy the Monkey came into Ryan the Rabbits room, tucked him in bed, read a bedtime story, and gave him a kiss on forehead. As Mommy the Monkey was walking out, Ryan the Rabbit whispered "Magical Monique said she loves you too". Mommy the Monkey smiled and turned off the light. Mommy the Monkey headed off to bed, but before she could close her eyes she said a prayer that her daughter Magical Monique would be with Ryan the Rabbit as he grew up. Mommy the Monkey never knew about Magical Monique visiting her little brother Ryan the Rabbit till he was bigger. Ryan the Rabbit and Mommy the Monkey were both happy to know that no matter where your family is, even if theyre in Heaven...they're never really gone. They still hear us, love us and are always with us.
What's your favorite part of the story? My favorite part is when Ryan and Monique get to still play with each other. Even through the loss of a child/sibling theres a bond that can never be broken as long as you believe and have faith.
What would you build out of LEGO® DUPLO® blocks to bring your story to life? My son would build a castle for Magical Monique to roam. He would protect her against the dragons just as she has protected him.
