Where are they? Ariel was having a great day. Even thought she knew her Mommy missed her, it was fun to be the center of attention, staying the night at her grandparents. Granddad had picked her up after school because Mommy was busy doing something special with her little sisters. Lia and Liani were only allowed to play with duplo blocks but at Granddad and Grandmas house there weren't any other kids.
What are they doing? Ariel loved her Lego blocks and her grandmas dog, Rocky loved it when Ariel came over to play with the blocks. He would lay beside her as she played so she would pet him as the dreamed the next thing she would build. Her grand parents were cleaning up after dinner and Ariel went back to the terrific Lego play land she had been building with her grandparents all evening. It had been a long day but she wanted to finish a few things she was building.
Why are they doing that? She heard a little bit about Legoland in Flordia and wanted to go there someday. Meanwhile, she and her grandparents had been creating there own Legoland. There were buildings, ponds, rides that even moved and even some animals. Ariel was having a hard time staying awake and suddenly she opened her eyes and saw, somehow, she was actually in the playland they had been building.
What happens to everyone? Rocky was with her so she wasn't scared. As they walked around the animals they had built came alive and talked to them. They explained to her she needed to see the grand model maker if she was ever goings to get out of Legoland. On the way she rode a car, a boat even an alligator. Rocky disappears for a little while but she finds him end the end. He was waiting for her with the grand model maker. He turned her into a Lego girl and she had to follow the pink path to home. There was a doorway she needed to go through to get home. The way to the doorway way at the end of a rollercoaster ride. Through a dark tunnel and just as she came unto the light, grandma walked into the room and told her it was time to go to bed!
What's your favorite part of the story? Being able to play on the things that they built.
