Who is the story about? Ester Leatherwood, Skylar and AbbyMac
Description Ester is sick in bed and she has to make 2 dozen cookies for her homes bake sale so that the seniors there can all go to the baseball game in the neighboring town. She knows she can't get up and feels really sad about it.
Who else is in the story? Robin, and Victoria who are other seniors in Esters building.
Where are they? The grandkids come to visit Ester at her senior housing development.
What are they doing? The kids are asking all of Esters friends to help them get the ingredients and help them to bake the cookies for the bake sale.
Why are they doing that? First the kids realize that their grandma will be sad that she cannot help the fund raiser. So they go next door to esters best friend Robin who takes them to the store to buy the ingredients. Then They ask another friend of Esters"Victoria" to help them make the cookies(she is a retired chef).
What happens to everyone? The kids make the cookies with the help of Esters friends.
What's your favorite part of the story? When Ester realizes that the kids went to such great lengths to help her because she always helps other people too
