Who is the story about? Wally
Description Wally is a little boy who dreams up a wonderful, magical candy store with a singing, dancing, Gumball Machine.
Who else is in the story? His Mother, Gabby (litte sister), Frost (Best Friend).
Where are they? It's a Saturday afternoon, and the story opens up with Wally, Gabby, and Frost in the mall walking far behind Wally's mother.
What are they doing? Wally, Frost, and Gabby are bored, exhausted, and very ready to leave after a long day of shopping at the mall with his mother.
Why are they doing that? Wally's mother suggests that all the kids sit down at a resting area and wait for her to go into one last store. Wally, Frost, and Gabby do so, but they are not happy nor excited about continuing to wait for his mom go into yet anther store. While waiting Wally falls asleep and dreams of a magial candy store with music, lights, and the greatest thing in the whole wide world; a giant dancing, singing gumball machine!
What happens to everyone? In Wally's dream, his sister, and his best friend venture into a magical candy store with an extraordinary Gumball Machine. As a result they are not only entertained but they leave with awsome treats as well. Once he wakes up his mother surprises them and actually takes them to a candy store as a reward for being so patient all day.
What's your favorite part of the story? The way my son's imagination can run wild and be so entertaining. While we were at the shopping mall, we passed by a gumball machine, and he asked me if gumball machines could dance, and if they could sing they would sing "The Candy Song" (which is a song he made up on the spot) and sang it the whole time.
What would you build out of LEGO® DUPLO® blocks to bring your story to life? My son will build the different characters, and the gumball machine, along with a few other things from the magical candy store.
