Description Alex is a child who always wanted a father. He finally got his with when he was adopted.
Who else is in the story? Little Dylan, Mimi, Poppa, and Mama and Daddy, Will and Carrie
Where are they? the courthouse
What are they doing? It is the big day when Alex is adopted! Everyone is anxiously awaiting the big event.
Why are they doing that? Will and Carrie are not able to have children of their own. They are adopting Alex and family and friends could not be more excited!
What happens to everyone? Everyone witnesses the event. Alex's new dad, Will, takes the stand. He states, "that his life will be full of joy now that he has Alex as his son". Mimi and Poppa and Mama and Daddy all get teary-eyed as he says this. Little Dylan is excited because he has a new friend!
What's your favorite part of the story? When Alex officially gets adopted!
