Who is the story about? Jaedyn Grace
Description Jaedyn makes use of the first morning in her big-girl bed and explores what it's like to have a morning all to herself.
Who else is in the story? Mommy:Lindsay, Daddy:Bret, Frank and Betty:the neighbors, Petey:the newspaper delivery man, and Lucy:the pup
Where are they? Jaedyn's bedroom as the clock strikes 5:30am.
What are they doing? Jaedyn is up bright and early on a Sunday morning (the mornings that Mommy and Daddy call "Sleep Late Sundays"). She decides to let them sleep and explore the house as the sun is rising.
Why are they doing that? She decides that Mommy and Daddy need a rest and is not quite tired enough to fall back to sleep.
What happens to everyone? Jaedyn wakes up her puppy, Lucy to go explore with her. She takes out all of her dolls and feeds them breakfast. Prepares Mommy and Daddy a cereal-boxed breakfast of their own. Greets Petey the newspaper delivery man, and waves to her early-rising neighbors from the big window in the living room dressed in a tutu with chocolate milk ALL over it.
What's your favorite part of the story? Picturing my three year old niece actually doing all of this.
What would you build out of LEGO® DUPLO® blocks to bring your story to life? She could build placemats for her Mom and Dad to eat on, as well as a house for her dolls to play in while she is exploring.
