Who is the story about? A stuffed kitty toy.
Description Kitty is a stuffed toy that Mommy gave to Brandon when he was a new baby. He likes to take Kitty with him everywhere. One day when Mommy and Brandon went out they thought they lost Kitty.
Who else is in the story? Mommy and Brandon and Daddy
Where are they? We see Brandon holding Kitty as Mommy puts on his jacket to go outside for a walk to see the fall leaves. They walk all around the neighborhood and we see houses, stores and finally the park.
What are they doing? Brandon plays at the park for awhile. He swings on the swing. He goes down the slide. Suddenly he can't find Kitty. He and Mommy start looking for Kitty everywhere. Even under the slide and in the stroller. Behind a tree. On top of the swing.
Why are they doing that? They need to get home to make supper for Daddy but they want to find Kitty. After a long time of looking they have to go home and even look on the way back for Kitty. They do not see her anywhere. They are sad when they get home and still have not found Kitty.
What happens to everyone? Daddy is already home and he comes to the door and says he was surprised they weren't home and that they left Kitty behind. He holds up Kitty and Brandon gives her a big hug! They didn't lose Kitty after all! They left her home when Brandon dropped her while putting on his jacket.
What's your favorite part of the story? When Brandon is so excited and happy to have "found" Kitty.
