Name of my story Let's Walk

Who is the story about? Personal pronoun 'I'

Description It describes all the wonderful things seen during a walk on a nice sunny day. But first, I have to get ready to go outside.

Who else is in the story? Not people, but objects. There are trees, flowers, birds, houses. Before leaving on the walk, there are clothes for dressing and food for breakfast.

Where are they? Inside the house as I get ready. Then, they are in the neighborhood as I take my walk.

What are they doing? Singing birds, hopping bunnies are a few examples as I walk by.

Why are they doing that? It is a story about activities in the neighborhood. The objects are just doing what they can do normally: hopping, singing, etc.

What happens to everyone? I finish my walk and end with the 'past' tense to show what I did during the story.

What's your favorite part of the story? The imagination of being out on a nice sunny day.

What would you build out of LEGO® DUPLO® blocks to bring your story to life? I would build my son. Then, build a neighborhood, with houses, streets, lamp posts. There would be birds, insects, trees, mailboxes. Anything one would see in their neighborhood sidewalks.
