Who is the story about? Lilian Nieto and her family.
Description Lilian loves to go on nature walks. In Grand Marais there's a waterfall trail that is very long.
Who else is in the story? Ryan her big brother, Bobbie Lily's mommy, Nick Lily's daddy.
Where are they? It's a nice fall day in Grand Marais. Lilian wants to go explore the nature trails. She comes across a waterfall that leads all the way to the end of the trail. She decides to follow it. To Lilian's surprise the waterfall leads to Lake Superior.
What are they doing? Lilian is walking the trails in search of any wild flowers she can find.
Why are they doing that? Once a year our family takes a trip up to the Upper peninsula to visit family. These trails have so much to explore.
What happens to everyone? We play a game to see who can find a souvenir to take home with them. Lily finds a heart shaped rock that is pinck and silver. Ryan finds a fossil, and mom and dad find a great place to take a family photo. Then we continue to follow the trail to the big lake, where we find a tide pool to swim in.
What's your favorite part of the story? My favorite part was watching Lilian and Ryan jump in the cold water at the tide pool.
What would you build out of LEGO® DUPLO® blocks to bring your story to life? My daughter would build each character and a small pool of water to show the great time they had swimming that day.
