Who is the story about? Milo the Mouse
Description Milo is a mouse who inhabits a massive and fearful medieval castle in a forest.
Who else is in the story? Alfred, the old prisoner; his prisoner son, Martin.
Where are they? In the cells of Locktight Castle
What are they doing? Milo is exploring a part of the castle he's never seen before when he comes upon poor old Alfred who's been imprisoned for more than a year because of something his son has wrongly been accused of. Milo feels pity for the old man and wants to find a way to free him.
Why are they doing that? Milo knows that Alfred has done nothing wrong, he is only there because the Castle Lord wants to punish whoever is part of Martin's family.
What happens to everyone? Milo is able to find small scraps of old tools and metalwork and delivers them to Alfred who is able to pick the lock and free himself and his son, and Milo guides them thru secret tunnels and passages that only he knows about...and eventually to freedom.
What's your favorite part of the story? The conversations between Milo and Alfred. Milo shows that kindness is more than just being nice, he recognizes that others deserve care and respect. Alfred is overwhelmed with Milo's kindness and help.
What would you build out of LEGO® DUPLO® blocks to bring your story to life? I would build the castle itself and especially the dark and dank dungeon.
