Name of my story Owen's Magic Bus

Who is the story about? This story is about my son.

Description Owen is the happiest bus driver you have ever seen, but there is more to him than just your average bus driver.

Who else is in the story? Penelope Prince, Mrs. Mackason, Kitty, and Billy Bopperstein

Where are they? The bus travels through the little town of Rehobeth where it goes beep beep beep.

What are they doing? Owen drives his colorful bus mostly along the tree-lined streets of Rehobeth, but every once in awhile if Owen sees someone in trouble, he takes the bus on a detour over the ocean or up the trees.

Why are they doing that? Owen smiles and waves as he drives down the road beeping his horn and picking passengers up to take them where they need to go. Everyone in town knows Owen because he is not only the best bus driver there ever was, but he is also the town hero who has saved many lives thanks to his bravery and his colorful bus that can magically go anywhere.

What happens to everyone? Sometimes trouble comes when Owen has a bus full of passengers. Since Owen has special powers and can do more in one second than most can do in a full day, his passengers sometimes come along for the rescue without knowing since it takes just a blink of an eye. The only way to tell if Owen has had an act of heroism is to see a rainbow in the sky, which happens every time the colorful bus travels to the rescue, leaving its spray of colors behind for all to enjoy. Today, he heard poor Penelope Prince crying down one of the streets he passed while driving the bus and then saw Mrs. Mackason waving her old broom in the trees. Owen heard a "Meow" and knew his help was needed.

What's your favorite part of the story? Owen took one look in the bus' rearview making sure everyone was in their seats before switching into his super hero power mode. Instantly the bus' wheels lifted up from the road and flew through the neighborhood in the direction of that "Meow." Owen spotted the scared Kitty high up in the old Oak tree. Poor Kitty must have gotten stuck after climbing too high. Thank goodness for Owen and his bus who swooped up high above Penelope and Mrs. Mackason's broom till Owen was able to reach out and pull Kitty to safety in the bus. Then just as fast as it went up, the bus went back down, dropping Kitty in Penelope's arms for a big warm hug. Penelope smiled, showing the couple teeth she had and said, "Thank you Owen, you did it again." Owen gave a beep beep on the bus' horn as the wheels touched back down on the road and the bus went back on its merry way. Owen took a second glance in the rearview mirror, making sure all was well. Sure enough since the whole rescue happened in just a blink of an eye, no one noticed until Billy Bopperstein pointed out the bus window and said, "Look at that colorful rainbow." All the heads turned in the bus to "ohh" and "awe" at the sparkling rainbow across the Rehobeth sky.

What would you build out of LEGO® DUPLO® blocks to bring your story to life? Build what seems like a quaint neighborhood with lots of streets, pretty houses and the beautiful blue ocean with Funland coming to life on the Boardwalk. Then craft a LEGO ramp from the blocks that is in the color of the brightest rainbow that will allow the bus to go up into the tree where it would seem to be floating to get the Kitty.
