Who is the story about? Scruffy the dog
Description Scruffy wakes up in his backyard and realizes he cannot find his favorite bone. His asks his friends, Speak the spider, Lucy the rabbit and Jack the spider to help him find it again.
Who else is in the story? Speak the centipede, Lucy the rabbit and Jack the spider.
Where are they? It's a lovely sunny day and Scruffy is sleeping in the backyard.
What are they doing? Scruffy wakes up to find his bone is missing. Speak, Lucy and Jack all help scruffy look around the yard.
Why are they doing that? Everyone is looking for Scruffy's bone because it is his most favorite bone and he would be sad if it was gone forever.
What happens to everyone? Speak the centipede crawls through all the dirt piles around the yard but cannot find the bone. Lucy the rabbit hops into all the bushes and flower beds but cannot find the bone either. Jack the spider crawls all around the fence posts and up into the trees but the bone is no where to be found. Scruffy is sad and goes to his dog house to cry. When he gets inside the dog house he finds that the bone had been in there all along! Speak, Lucy, Jack and Scruffy celebrate!
