Who is the story about? Rebecca, a five year old.
Description Before starting grade one, Rebecca wants to know more about the shapes around her.
Who else is in the story? Sneaky Circle, Shifty Square, Tipsy Triangle, Nika and Olive the kittens and Daddy
Where are they? At home in Edmonton
What are they doing? Rebecca and her Daddy are sitting in their living room talking about all the different shapes they see around them.
Why are they doing that? Rebecca thinks that Grade one will be too complicated for her so she wants to make sure she is ready.
What happens to everyone? Daddy makes a square, a rectangle, a triangle and a circle out of papers from the recycle bin. When he goes to make supper, Rebecca names the shapes and starts making up an adventure about them. The circle rolls under the couch and Rebecca has to eat supper and take her bath before she can find it. Before bed, Nika chases Olive under the couch and Olive comes out batting the Sneaky circle across the room.
