Description Pete the penguin wants to play in the snow all day
Who else is in the story? Pete's mom
Where are they? Outside on a cold, sunny day with a fresh layer of snow waiting to be played in
What are they doing? Pete wants to stay outside and play in the snow with his friends all day but his mom wants him to come inside for lunch. Pete is having so much fun that he tells his mom he isn't hungry and wants to play little while longer.
Why are they doing that? His mom insists that growing penguins need to eat to keep their energy up and grow to be big strong penguins.
What happens to everyone? Pete listens to his mom and goes home for lunch and as he calms down from the excitement of the day he realizes his tummy is rumbling and he has worked up an appetite after all. He fills up on his lunch and even eats all his vegetables so his mom says he can go back outside and play some more!
