Who is the story about? Zedric Zebra
Description Zedric lives in a world full of color but he is black and white. Zedric wants to be colorful like his friends. He goes out into the world to find others like him.
Who else is in the story? Timothy Tiger, Percy Platypus, Perry Penguin, and Francis Flamingo
Where are they? Zedric is a young zebra who lives in Africa. His best friend is TImothy TIger who is covered in wonderful black and orange stripes. Zedric wants to be colorful like his friend and others he sees around him on the African Plains. He sets out on an adventure to find others who are different like him.
What are they doing? Zedric and Timothy set out in a hot air balloon that goes to exotic places in the world. Their first stop is New Zealand where they meet Percy Platypus.
Why are they doing that? Zedric wants to make new friends. His only friend is Timothy and the other animals make fun of him because he is black and white. Timothy wants to show Zedric that there are lots of animals out there that are different.
What happens to everyone? Their adventure leads them to New Zealand, China, South America and the Galapagos Islands. Zedric makes many new friends and learns that it is ok to be different.
What's your favorite part of the story? My favorite part is when Zedric meets an large group of penguins and there is nothing but black and white everywhere he looks. That is when Zedric realizes it is good to be different and that he is not alone.
What would you build out of LEGO® DUPLO® blocks to bring your story to life? A model of the air balloon that their adventure takes place in.
