Earn a Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies scholarship! Georgetown is developing courses just for Mom Congress, and they'll award 10 scholarships each semester. Welcome to Mom Congress!
There's nothing like a group of fired up, crazy-passionate moms to get something done, and when it comes to our kids' education in particular, there's no shortage of work to be done. Mom Congress, a Parenting initiative with Georgetown University -- our education provider -- is here to help you make the changes you want in your local schools, and for kids nationwide. Is homework overload ruining your family time? Are budget cuts threatening to balloon class size? Is your school's interpretation of a healthy lunch nachos and fries? Our kids deserve better, period.
Through Mom Congress, you can connect with other parents to share your concerns, swap ideas and shout about successes in your district. And you'll have the ear of some of the top education leaders in the country through our advisory board. But this is only the beginning.
