August 9, 2006
August 9, 2006 J. C. Penney has recalled 3,000 lamps. The Crazy Daisy 3-in-1 Electronic Motion Shade Lamp has an electrical circuit board that can spark and overheat, posing a fire hazard. A four-way switch allows the lamp to function as a moving light, making the patterns revolve around the shade. The lamps' shades are plastic and decorated with stripes or floral patterns. The lamps were sold at J. C. Penney's stores nationwide for about $30.
