J. C. Penney has recalled 3,000 lamps. The Crazy Daisy 3-in-1 Electronic Motion Shade Lamp has an electrical circuit board that can spark and overheat, posing a fire hazard. A four-way switch allows the lamp to function as a moving light, making the patterns revolve around the shade. The lamps' shades are plastic and decorated with stripes or floral patterns. The lamps were sold at J. C. Penney's stores nationwide for about $30.

Recalled lamps may be returned to J. C. Penney where purchased for a full refund. Lamps purchased through a catalog or Website may be returned the nearest J. C. Penney store with a catalog desk. For more information, contact J. C. Penney toll-free anytime at (888) 333-6063 or visit www.jcpenney.com To view the complete recall, including a photo, please visit http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml06/06227.html Miss an alert?
