Kids II Inc. have recalled 375,000 teethers. The Bright Starts Teether Beads and Bright Starts Star Teether Beads consist of a flexible plastic loop strung with plastic beads. The loop can break, releasing the beads, thereby posing a choking hazard.
The Bright Starts Teether Beads product (model number 8459) has brightly colored, plastic beads that are oval shaped, and the Bright Starts Star Teether Beads (model number 8483) has brightly colored, soft plastic beads that are shaped as spirals, stars, and ovals. Both products were sold at discount department and juvenile specialty stores nationwide for between $1 and $3.
