Seena International has recalled 45,000 children's hooded sweatshirts. The garments have a drawstring through the hood, posing a strangulation hazard. This violates guidelines issued by the CPSC in 1999 to help protect children from such hazards.

The sweatshirts were sold in black, brown, blue, red, gray, white, and off-white. The words "BKLYN Xpress" and "Brooklyn Xpress" are embroidered on the sweatshirts, along with various graphic designs. A tag has one of the following style numbers: BXFL72B, BXFL73B, BXFL74B, BXFL75B, BXFL77B or BXFL80B. Only sizes 8 to 12 are included in the recall. The sweatshirts were sold at various clothing stores, including Ross Stores and Gordman's, for about $25.

To eliminate the hazard, consumers should immediately remove the drawstring or return the sweatshirt to the store where purchased for assistance. For more information, contact Seena International at (866) 927-5596 between 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. ET Monday through Friday, or visit www.brooklynxpress.com To view the entire recall, including a photo, please visit: http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml07/07077.html
