Gymboree has recalled 5,600 Caroline Flower baby sandals. The sandals have a white upper sole, a cork covered outer sole, and white straps. A white decorative plastic flower that is attached to the top of the front strap can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. The sandals were sold in sizes 1 to 8 at Gymboree stores and the Gymboree website for between $22 and $28. The recall affects the sandal with SKU number 140002069.
Consumers should return the sandals to a Gymboree store for a refund. To return them by mail, or for more information, contact Gymboree at (877) 449-6932 between 6 A.M. and 9 P.M. PT Monday through Friday and between 7 A.M. and 3 P.M. PT Saturdays or visit www.gymboree.com
