About 35,000 Baby Einstein Discover & Play Color Blocks have been recalled by Kids II Inc., of Alpharetta, Georgia because of excessive levels of lead paint on the blue blocks.
The blocks have soft textures and come in different colors.The recall involves Model 30726 and Model 30881 with date codes GE7, GF7, and GG7, which are printed on the labels on the green-colored block.
The recalled blocks were made in China and sold in various stores nationwide from June 2007 to September 2007 for $10 - $13.
Parents should immediately take the recalled blue block away from children and contact Kids II to receive a free replacement. Call (866) 203-6788 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. ET Monday to Friday, or visit www.kidsii.com
