CVS Recalls Playskool Sippy Cups

The Playskool Toddler "NoSpill" Sippy Cups pose a choking hazard to children

July 19, 2007 Playskool Toddler "NoSpill" Sippy Cups are being recalled by CVS/pharmacy. Children can chew through the plastic spout of the cup, which poses a choking hazard.

The recall includes about 84,000 sippy cups. The recalled product is an 8-ounce clear plastic cup with red trim, red and yellow handles, and a yellow tip; or blue trim, blue and green handles, and a green tip; or purple trim, purple and aqua handles, and an aqua tip. Serial number 382814 is printed on the back of the packaging of the recalled cups. The Playskool Toddler "NoSpill" Sippy Cups were sold at CVS stores nationwide from September 2006 to April 2007 for about $5.
