Graco has recalled about 1 million Duo Tandem strollers. They have a blue, white, or green plastic and steel frame, with two cloth seats, one in front of the other, which come in various colors and patterns. The strollers fail to latch properly, causing them to collapse unexpectedly during use. This poses a variety of hazards, including broken bones, cuts, bumps, and bruises. They were sold at discount, department, and juvenile products stores nationwide for between $80 and $150.
The strollers in this recall carry the model numbers 7950, 7955, 7960, 7965, 7970, and 7980, with serial numbers that fall within the range of 01011994 and 12311999. Also included is the model number 7990, with serial numbers between 01011996 and 10311998. For the model and serial number, look for a label on the stroller's frame.
