"Pirates" Flashlights Recalled

Paint on the leather strap attached to the flashlight contain excessive levels of lead

About 79,000 "Pirates of the Caribbean" Medallion Squeeze Lights have been recalled by Eveready Battery Co. because paint found on the strap connected to the medallion squeeze light contains excessive levels of lead.

The recalled squeeze lights are gold, measure about 1 3/4" across, and are attached to a leather strap with a metal clasp. They were made in China and sold at various stores and websites from September 2006 to October 2007 for $4 - $6.
