Quiksilver Inc. has recalled 48,000 pairs of children's lounge pants. The pants failed to meet children's sleepwear flammability standards, therefore posing a risk of burn injury to children. Though not labeled or marketed as sleepwear, the pants are loungewear and thus must meet the same flammability standards as children's sleepwear.

The recalled pants were sold in girls' and boys' sizes 7 through 14 and have elastic or drawstring waistbands. They come in plaid, camouflage, floral, and heart print patterns. The girls' pants are labeled "ROXY GIRL" and the boys' "QUIKSILVER." They were sold in surf and skate shops, specialty stores, and department stores nationwide, including Macy's, McCalou's, Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, and Quiksilver and Roxy retail stores and outlets, for between $20 and $50.

For a full refund, return the pants to the store where purchased. If you are unable to return your item, or for more information, contact Quiksilver Consumer Affairs at (800) 576-4004 between 9 A.M. and 5 P.M. PT, or e-mail the firm at channels@quiksilver.com.
