Empire Silver Company of Brooklyn, NY has recalled 1,000 Sterling Silver Teething Rings. The silver ball holding the ring in place can separate and release the beads inside, posing a choking and aspiration hazard.

The recalled silver teething rings have beads inside that make a rattling noise and a ball between the rings. They were sold in the following styles: single ring with ball, single ring with heart and ball, and three rings with ball. The rings were manufactured in the United States and sold at specialty and department stores nationwide in November 2007 for $50-$120.

Parents should immediately take the teething rings away from infants and return to the store where purchased for a refund or replacement. For more information, contact Empire Silver Company at (800) 255-9475 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday to Friday, or visit www.empiresilver.com
