United Imports Inc. has recalled 3,600 children's "Mood Necklaces" sold exclusively at Accessories Palace. The necklaces contain lead, which is toxic if ingested by children.

The "mood necklaces" have multi-colored pendants in the shape of hearts, crosses, moons, feet, stars, dolphins, shamrocks, teardrops, spiders, flip-flop sandals, and butterflies. The pendant hangs on a black cord. On the front of the packaging is printed "Mood Necklace," with "Item #AP-R428" printed on a sticker on the back. The necklaces were sold for about $1 at Accessories Palace in Lake Worth, Fla., and online at www.accessoriespalace.com, from September 2006 through February 2007.

Remove the recalled jewelry immediately and return it to the Accessories Palace store for a full refund. Consumers unable to return the item to the store, or who purchased the item online should contact United Imports for instructions on how to receive a full refund.
