Halloween Skull Pails Recalled

Paint on the skull contains excessive levels of lead

About 55,000 Skull Pails Filled With Halloween Candy Mix by R.L. Albert & Son of Greenwich, Connecticut have been recalled due to lead paint on the eyes, nose, and teeth of the skull. The skull-shaped pail, measuring about 5 ½ inches high, is white with green eyes, nose, and teeth. The clear lid has a label printed with "Albert's Skull Pails Filled with Halloween Candy Mix."

The recalled skull pails were made in China and sold at retail stores nationwide from September 2007 to October 2007 for $2.

Parents should immediately take the recalled pails away from children and return to the store where purchased for a full refund. Contact Albert's at (866) 796-6110 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday to Friday.
