Ms. Bubbles Inc has recalled about 55,000 Girl's Blue Denim Passport Jackets. The jackets have a drawstring through the hood that can pose a strangulation hazard.
The recalled blue denim jackets have a white terrycloth underlay lining and drawstring. The jackets were sold in children's sizes medium (7-10), large (11-14) and x-large (15-16). Style number BF1400 KP is printed on the hang tag attached to the garment. The jackets were made in China and sold at T.J. Maxx, J.C. Penney, and Forman Mills stores nationwide from August 2007 through December 2007 for about $10.
Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the sweatshirts to eliminate the hazard, or return the garment to either the place of purchase or to Ms. Bubbles Inc. to receive a refund. For additional information, contact Ms. Bubbles toll-free at (866) 342-3802 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday.
