Fisher Price recalled approximately 155,000 Laugh & Learn Learning Kitchen Toys yesterday. The recall involves a play kitchen with a pretend refrigerator, range and sink. Pieces of the faucet and the clock hands can easily detach, causing a choking hazard for young children. To date, there have been 48 reports of the detaching parts, including two instances of children gagging on the pieces: One child started to choke on a piece, and another child choked on a piece.

The product's item number, L5067, is stamped in several places on the toy and printed on the packaging on the UPC. The toys, which were manufactured in Mexico, were sold at various retail and toy specialty stores nationwide from May 2007 through October 2007 for about $70.

Parents should remove the toy from their child's reach immediately and contact Fisher-Price for a free repair kit by calling (888) 812-7187 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. ET Monday through Friday and between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Saturday, or visiting [OPENWINDOW "http://service.mattel.com" "service.mattel.com"].
