Toys Recalled Due to Aspiration and Intestinal Hazards

Magnets can detach from toys and be swallowed or aspirated by children

Super Magnet Toys by Man's Trading Company of Brisbane, CA have been recalled. The magnets attached to the small toy pandas can detach and cause potentially fatal intestinal perforations or blockages if swallowed or aspirated.

The recalled Super Magnets are 1/2 inch panda bears with small magnets attached to the bottom. "Super Magnets" and the Man's Trading Company logo are printed on the front of the packaging. Eight magnet toys are included in one package. The recalled toys were manufactured in China and sold at dollar and gift stores nationwide from September 2005 to November 2007 for $1.

Parents should immediately take the magnet toys away form children and return to the store where purchased for a full refund. For more information, contact MTC at (800) 388-7228 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. PT Monday to Friday or email mtcmans@aol.com.
