Give French toast a healthy twist by mixing in sweet potato and carrot baby food.
This tender and savory chicken is cooked with oat bran and grated zucchini, then made into yummy sandwiches.
Makes 2 cups of sauce.
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup sweet potato baby food
  • 1/2 cup carrot baby food
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 3/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp Worcester sauce
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1 to 2 tsp chili powder
  • Hot sauce to taste
  • Freshly ground pepper

1. Whisk together all ingredients except chili powder, hot sauce, and pepper.

2. Add chili powder, hot sauce, and freshly ground pepper to taste. Thin with more vegetable broth, if desired.

3. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
