While our favorite celebrities are usually known for tackling tough movie roles or performing in front of large crowds,  many of them are also writers with a knack for creating amazing stories for kids. Celebs, being the creatives that they are, sometimes look for another outlet for their imaginations . Often celeb authors they draw on inspiration from their own childhood or even from their own children for their stories, and the result is captivating. Plus, many of their stories are enjoyable for parents to read, too! From hilarious rhyming books to emotional tales of a parent’s everlasting love, these celebs have certainly got this whole children’s book thing down. Freckleface Strawberry by Julianne Moore

The name for this series of children’s books was actually inspired by Moore’s childhood nickname. This makes sense with the red hair and the freckles. The books teach children the importance of loving the skin they’re in and to embrace differences.
