Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

body aches?

2 answers
All today I've had the most horrible body aches. I know this is to be expected but I didn't know it would feel like this. My little girl kicked and punched and moved all night long, so my sides are killing me. Also my back is in so much pain and I've stretched every which way I can think of and nothing is helping it. I haven't been able to sleep through the night in a week and a half. Has this happened to anyone else and is there anything I can do to ease the pain?

I feel your pain! I'm only 15 weeks and I don't sleep anymore. My back kills me and I have awful headaches. I like to soak in a hot bath and that helps some. It never really goes away unfortunately so I don't have anything significant to help you. I also like to get on my hands and knees and rock back and forth. That helps too, but only while you're doing it really. I hope you get to feeling better soon! Good luck :)
You're not the only one! I've always had back issues, but nothing like they are now that I'm pregnant! I'm 16 weeks, and I haven't even started to show yet, so I can't imagine what I'm in for once I actually get my baby bump. Another problem that I'm having is with my hips. I can't lay on noe side for too long (even with my tempur-pedic mattress!) or my hips will start to ache really bad. I toss and turn all the time. PLEASE let me know if you find anything that helps!
