Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Burning hip pain

2 answers
I have had some hip pain recently, like a burning or pinched nerve sensation and tender to the touch. Usually it happens at night if I lay too far forward on my hip. Last night, I felt it when standing up and the pain is still there this morning. Unfortunately, I have a desk job and sitting is pretty unbearable at the moment. I've tried a body pillow in between my knees to help align my hips and it helped until last night. Is this normal?

I had that, too.  It started around 24 weeks for me.  I put a pillow underneath my knees to elevate them.  Try it. :)
It happens! Physio can help if you can afford it. Also, try keeping your feet up at work if that helps. I have a rubbermaid tote under my desk to keep my feet on.
