Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Can I handle/clean out a ferret's litter box?

1 answers
I just got a job working with a variety of animals. One of the animals I will be working with and having to deal with a decent amount of my time is a ferret. I was told that I will be having to clean out it's litter box every hour or so. I know I'm not supposed to clean my cat's litter box because of the toxoplasmosus (or however it's spelt) but I didn't know if ferrets are the same or different. Does anyone know if I can do this or not? Any information would be helpful!!

I wouldn't advise it. It would be along the sames lines as cleaning a cat litter box.  But you can always ask your ob doctor what they think about it.
