Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Can you get pregnant even though you spotted?

A friend of mine did not have a period last month this month she spotted only one day. She does not think that she is pregnant even though she feels nauseated, has headaches, her breast appear to be getting bigger, and three of the closest people to her believe that she is pregnant. What should I tell her especially if she does not want to take a pregnancy test?

I had a period with my first pregnancy so was a month farther along than I thought when I finally figured it out. I am pregnant again and not only had a period but had some light spotting a couple weeks after my period. I threw up one time and that's the only reason I even took a test for this pregnancy. Tell your friend to take the test. Better safe than sorry.
