Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Does anyone know much about the birth control patch?

My husband and I have decided try to have an other child. With my two other children I wasn't on birth control, we used condoms for the most part...so I am kind of wondering how the hormones in the patch would affect my getting pregnant this time around??

Well I've heard that with any birth control as soon as you get off of it the chances of getting pregnant are really easy.  I just got off of the implanon and the Dr. told me that unless I want to get pregnant that I should get on another birth control and still use condoms because I could get pregnant fast.
I was on the birth control patch for about 6 years(and was on the pill for 2-3 years before that). When we conceived I had only been off the patch for 2 months. They usually say that you should be off about a month and make sure you have at least one normal menstrual cycle before conceiving.
