Sometimes it's nice to get advice from experts with a lot of letter degrees behind their names, but other times, you just need to hear what another parent (with a M.O.M. behind her name) has done that has worked. You've got questions? These moms have answers.

Is it normal to have morning sickness all day long like 24 hrs and turn around and have it again the next?

Not really.  I've heard of it before.  My friend had all day mornign sickness for the entire pregnancy.  I've had it pretty bad this time too, but I can usually keep 1 meal a day down.  Try ginger - ginger ale, ginger snaps.  It's supposed to be a natural tummy soother.  Unsalted crackers might help too.  It helped me with my first to change when I took my prenatal vitamin - I switch to nights and it helped so much.  If you are worried, call you doctor.  Good luck.  :)
I had all day/night nausea and nothing seemed to help....  ginger seemed to aid with the nausea and taking my prenatal vitamin at night but with me it lasted for 7 months and then it just went away. OB or Midwife can prescribe something for you, but that didnt work for me either, but it might for you!  Good luck :)
I was say to ask your dr. I have been having the same problem and nothing has helped. She has prescribed me nausea pills and even those didnt do the trick since I couldnt keep the pill down. She now has prescribed me some dissolving ones and they seem to help a little. I have lost almost 30 lbs so far and am 19 weeks along, my dr said not to worry too much as long as you can keep down fluids and the baby is growing. You can try the ginger tip I have tried that one over and over with no relief lol.. hang in there I just keep thinking about how it will be well worth it in the end =)

I had all day sickness for the first 4 months....it was soo bad I couldn't even keep down water and lost a lot of weight. Then one day it was just gone, I still get a little nausea but nothing like those first few months and this is my 4th pregnancy. You never know whats going to happen, but just know meeting that lil person in the end makes all the misery worth it.
